Claims Adjusters are responsible for processing and adjudicating claims accurately and in a timely manner, providing a high level of customer satisfaction while maintaining an acceptable productivity level as determined by the claims manager.

We know veterinary medicine is all about quality of life… let’s improve yours! Many of our Claims Adjusters are registered vet technicians, so we have plenty of industry knowledge to share!

What does an Embrace Pet Insurance Claims Adjuster do? We use our vet tech brains and all the knowledge we gained working in practices to evaluate claims and medical history for our policyholders.

• Processing about 100 claims per day to determine if it is eligible for coverage based off of pre-existing conditions.
• Reviewing about 35 different pet’s medical records to determine if there are any pre-existing conditions. This can include exam notes, lab results, radiograph results, etc.
• Communicating efficiently with pet parents in response to all phone, email, or web inquiries about claim-related questions in an acceptable time frame as determined by the Claims Leadership Team.
• Calculating coverage amounts accurately and efficiently minimizing errors and processing time.
• Following up with pet parents and veterinary clinics for additional required information as needed.

Minimum of 3 years or Vet Tech Experience.

Vet Tech License, highly preferred.

Compensation: The base salary for this position is $45,000 per year.
