C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time Claims Adjuster in Jefferson City.

Hours for Claims Adjuster: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Responsibilities for Claims Adjuster:

• assist Claims Managers with adjusting assigned property and casualty claims resolutions
• coordinate with external vendors and independent adjusters
• enter data and checks into electronic claims system
• maintain claims files and prepare correspondence

Requirements for Claims Adjuster:

• broad understanding of insurance claims with ability to implement and oversee the examination and settlement of multi-line claims
• excellent interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), organizational and analytical skills
• ability to manage computer operations and application software
• knowledge and previous office experience; associates or bachelors degree preferred
• ability to understand policies, procedures and general insurance terminology
• maintain professional working relationships
