Civilian Security Officer

We are seeking a highly diligent and responsible individual to join our team as a Civilian Security Officer. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security measures to protect against unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and potential threats. Your vigilant presence and ability to respond swiftly to security incidents will ensure the overall safety and well-being of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant vigilance over premises by conducting regular patrols and inspecting security systems to detect and prevent potential security breaches.

• Control access to the premises by monitoring entry points.

• Act swiftly and efficiently in response to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies such as fires, medical emergencies, or suspicious activities. Follow established protocols, report incidents promptly, and collaborate with emergency services when necessary.

• Enforce and adhere to security protocols, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with employees, clients, and visitors. Provide assistance, directions, and information when required, offering exceptional customer service while ensuring security protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

• • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• • Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role is advantageous.
• • Solid knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response.
• • Excellent observation skills and the ability to quickly assess situations, identify threats, and take appropriate action.

• • Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed reports and effectively interact with stakeholders.
• • Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods.
• • Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound judgments, and respond effectively to emergencies.
• • Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards maintaining the organization's safety and security.
• • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security operations.
