IMAGINE ONE TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT, LTD., is now interviewing Civil Engineersfor contract supporting the US Navy’s Aircraft Carrier program from its field office at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The work requires a degreed Civil Engineerwho will perform analytical tasks under the direction of the government to support the activity’s mission of ship life cycle management. The Government will provide training to meet all duties -- so ZERO years experience is perfect! The successful Civil Engineerwill be responsible to perform analyses and manage aircraft carrier hull structure and support systems and other duties as assigned to provide technical support for the development and management of the aircraft carrier Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) and more. Read on...
Here's more the Civil Engineer will receive essential training and experience, but not limited to the following duties:
- Provide technical support in the engineering principles, techniques and practices as they relate to aircraft carrier Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems; aviation support systems; and electronic systems.
- Retrieve, organize and analyze (e.g., maintenance, risk, material condition) data of specified systems or components based on specific criteria and submit finding for evaluation and action.
- Provide technical support for the development and management of the non-nuclear CMP, Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWP) and modernization for execution during CVN/aircraft carrier availabilities.
- Assist with development of new ship life cycle strategies.
Experience Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on data management and analysis a plus!
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil OR Structural Engineering REQUIRED!!
Security Requirements:
- US citizenship
- DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Will consider sponsoring US citizen for clearance process
