Civil Engineer Project Manager, Private Development Group

The Kleingers Group is seeking a collaborative and driven individual to join our team as a Project Manager in our Private Development division. Our Private Development Engineering Group features engineerswho bring years of experience working on the side of the developer/owner equation. The team applies this extensive knowledge and understanding of the latest retail development trends, market conditions, governmental regulations, and land development issues to every Private Development project. The Development Groupenhances communities with survey, Civil Engineering, transportation engineering, landscape architecture, and 3D laser scanningservices for numerous neighborhood and regional shopping centers, hospitals, and individual freestanding retail buildings. We bring a creative perspective to site planning, landscape, and amenities that develop a project’s identity and creates an appealing shopping environment.

The Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for driving the project to completion on time, within budget, while providing an exceptional experience for our clients. Our portfolio is full of success stories, but we’re most proud of the strong relationships we have built and continue to grow. Successful candidates will have experience in:

• Overseeing Civil Engineering projects with the required technical and project management expertise to do so.
• Taking responsibility for projects from launch to completion. This includes:
• Executing
• Managing client expectations
• Assigning project work
• Completing projects of high quality and on time
• Accurately budgeting and billing of all projects assigned
• Building strong relationships through communicating project information and detail while serving as the liaison between the Kleingers team and all clients, general contractors, consultants, and public authorities.
• Coaching, developing, and managing all employees reporting to them.

The Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to sit for test within 6 months is required
• Site Civil Engineering experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Stormwater
• Strong project management and organizational skills are necessary.
• Ability to be the Engineer of Record (EOR), preferred.
• Highly effective in project management and organizational skills.
