Civil Designer

KEYS: 8+ years’ experience in civil site plan design including: Grading, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and pavement.

Summary:

In the role of a Civil Designer, you'll contribute significantly by creating accurate technical drawings and plans for our engineering and design teams. Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop well-crafted design documents that meet industry standards and convey project requirements effectively. Your proficiency in drafting software and strong attention to detail will be vital for our mission of offering innovative design solutions.

• Confirm drawings' conformity with industry standards, codes, and internal guidelines.
• Engage with project engineers, designers, and surveyors to understand project requirements.
• Employ software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D for detailed civil engineering plans, covering site layout, grading, utilities, drainage, and roadways.
• Collaboratively include design changes within the team's efforts.
• Review and ensure the precision and entirety of drawings before finalization.
• Support the preparation of construction documents, technical reports, and other project-related documentation.

Qualifications:

• Ideally, possess an Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Drafting or a related discipline.
• 8+ years involving survey maps, specifically Boundary and Topographic maps.
• Display proficiency in the utilization of Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of civil engineering principles and adept drafting techniques.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $780,000.00 per year
