Form of workRMF Engineering, Inc has an immediate need for a Civil Design Engineer to join the Raleigh, NC office.
Duties
Design construction document drawing sets for civil infrastructure projects (including site plans, profiles, details, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, phasing plans, and traffic and pedestrian control).
Design and layout underground utilities including chilled water, hot water, steam, medium voltage power systems, domestic water, and sanitary sewer.
Create site layouts for large mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems, including grading and stormwater management.
Coordinate with other in-house civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Perform site visits to verify existing conditions and inspect construction progress.
Work directly with experienced PE's and designers, and receive dedicated software, engineering, and design training.
Requirements
0-5 years of experience.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D , but not required).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Understanding of basic civil engineering concepts with interest in mechanical and/or electrical infrastructure.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
