Civil Construction Concrete Finisher

DBA Construction, Inc. is a successful heavy civil contractor that has been in business since 1996 providing services throughout Arizona and the Greater Southwest region with a broad range of experience and expertise in heavy highway construction, streets, concrete flatwork, concrete structures, earthwork, bridge, and wet utilities.

Responsibilities:

• Set forming materials.
• Place and finish concrete
• Includes sidewalks, ADA ramps, curbs, flatwork, and concrete structures.
• Stamping, integral colors, and exposed concrete work preferred.
• Shoveling, raking, and running wheelbarrow.
• Use hand tools or power tools, including floats, trowels, screeds, and straightedges.
• Keep tools and work area clean and free of debris.
• Must be capable of lifting AND carrying 75 lbs.
• Able to work well with others Comply OSHA all company safety policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Experience, Skills, Education):

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration Document
• Attention to detail and follow directions.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Must have own transportation to various work sites within the state of Arizona.
• Must have own finishing tools.
• Steel boots are required.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures
• Must have own nail bags and tools for forming and finishing.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.00 - $33.00 DOE

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Phoenix, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
