City Laborer

Job Duties: Under the direction of the City you will be responsible for cleaning the areas around the city, city owned parks, park facilities, and the recreation centers. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Essential Functions:
Cleaning responsibilities included and are not limited to:
-Cleaning Parks and Rec facilities in the City of Texas City
-Cleaning the grounds outside of the facilities, cleaning windows, and keeping the
facilities safe by properly storing cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
-Picking up loose trash and emptying trash receptacles at the previously mentioned facilities and surrounding Texas City areas.
-Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
-General maintenance of grounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• General Labor: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
