Employee will serve as City’s statutory Clerk and Treasurer. This position performs complex executive work, planning, organizing, and coordinating City government operations, and is responsible for setting policies and goals under administrative oversight of the Rushmore City Council.
Preferred candidate will have a minimum of four years in financial management, accounting, public sector, or a related field. Knowledgeable work in computer systems and software applications (Excel/Word/ Financial/Payroll) and must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks associated with strong financial skills, demonstrate strong communication skills, possess positive organization and management skills.
Candidate will need to be able to effectively communicate and maintain positive relationships with the city council, employees, and community members, bi-lingual is a positive skill. Position requires the ability to prioritize and complete tasks with no supervision. Wage is regionally competitive and commensurate with experience. Drug test required.
