About This Role:
- Supervises staff, including scheduling staff, creating goals, and writing evaluations, managing employees to maximize performance, approving timecards, and facilitating the staff discipline process.
- Provides excellent customer service at an integrated service desk.
- Manages the facility, opening and closing, and submits maintenance requests as the person in charge.
- Serves as a branch liaison participating in policy and procedure improvements and revisions and special committee assignments.
- May include managing/providing Passport Services.
Preferences:
- Supervisory experience to include scheduling, training, and personnel management.
- Experience providing excellent customer service to include policy interpretation, helping visitors, and writing incident reports as needed.
- 1-year experience with collection management.
- Experience managing volunteers.
- Experience managing a facility to include opening/closing a building and submitting maintenance requests as needed.
- Experience with SharePoint, Teams/Webex/Zoom, MS Word, Outlook.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time exempt position. Central Library is open Monday—Wednesday 10am to 8pm, and Thursday—Saturday 10am to 5pm. Scheduling flexibility is imperative. The schedule includes one evening per week and rotating Saturdays as assigned. Schedule may vary depending on the needs of the branch.
Starting Salary Range: $74,217.00 - $88,167.00
