JOB SUMMARY:
The Circa Sports Venue Host is responsible for managing reservations, assisting VIP clientele, curating memorable experiences and providing superior guest service, as well as, acting as a brand ambassador for Circa and Circa Sports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests.
- Assist guests with table reservations and special requests.
- Escort guests to and from private, reserved seating areas.
- Entertain guests and curate a unique, memorable experience.
- Marketing and promoting Circa Sportsbook specific events both on property and in public venues.
- Responsible for maintaining the Circa standards of service to guests and fellow team members at all times.
- Responsible for following all designated emergency procedures and understands duties in the event an emergency arises.
- Provide constant visual surveillance of sportsbook and surrounding areas, identifying any potential safety or emergency situations.
- Awareness of guest experience at all times, smiles, makes eye contact, and communicates professionally. Consistently delivers exceptional service while interacting professionally.
- Assist guests with requests; offering appropriate alternatives and seeking assistance when needed.
- Knows and adheres to all Circa and departmental policies and procedures, embrace company culture and take pride in the resort and amenities.
- Understands and well-versed in the resort features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities, and events available to guests.
- Attends required training classes and incorporates new standards, service knowledge and safety into daily work practices.
- Solution oriented, looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments and/or leaders at all times.
- Performs all other job-related duties as assigned and has flexibility to perform other job-related tasks as deemed necessary by management.
- Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a high-volume beverage, day club, casino, or pool setting.
- Ability to network and comfortably communicate with others in order to develop business.
- Must be able to communicate in English with guests, management, and other employees to their understanding. Additional foreign language is a plus.
- Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis.
- Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture, and hygiene deemed by management.
- Technique and style regarding hair styles and make-up should stay current and in line with current fashion standards and trends as deemed by management.
- The ability to work within a team environment and maintain positive "whatever it takes" attitude.
- Must be available to work all shifts and days.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions.
- Willingness to participate in promotional campaigns & promote upcoming events via social platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Candidates must maintain general appearance upon which they are originally hired. Any cosmetic changes must have prior approval from management.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must be able to obtain all required work cards
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking and standing for extended periods of time
- Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy and may contain secondhand smoke
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests
