Job Description
As a DTC (Custody Settlements Analyst, you will spend each day analyzing, reviewing, processing and delivering our Custody Settlements to meet the needs of our US Custody business. Demonstrating analytical acumen to make informed decisions as well as delivery of best practices, you will assist in driving solutions across our organization to strengthen the team and guide growth both personally and professionally.
Job Responsibilities
  • Delivery and receive processing for all US depository supported securities, including electronic receive and reclaim referrals
  • Processing electronic holdover of unclaimed trades with report publication to users. End of day net settlement, cash proof reconciliation, G/L cash posting, pair off and reporting
  • Daily Health Check reports and metrics reporting to Senior management. Participation in Written Supervisory Procedure (WSP) Monthly Review and Quarterly Business Resiliency Site Failover tests
  • Processing Repo Adjustments, Reclaim adjustments and period settlement
  • Settlement support of Lending, discretionary, directed and third party including new loans, return of loans and marks
  • Processing to enable the Institutional Delivery (ID) interfaces with the DTC. Direct Affirm, Auto Affirm and Hybrid Affirm. Also performs subsequent settlement for ID related trades
  • CNS/ETF settlement support, fail reporting and balance order processing

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Clear, concise and effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Effective problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and foster positive and effective relationships in a dynamic team centric environment
  • Ability to recognize risks related to the settlements role and operate within established risk parameters for the role
  • Willingness to participate in and support diversity, inclusion and respect in all aspects of the role

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Experience in a settlement or custody environment
