Job Description: Chocolatier (Industry City/Brooklyn Army Terminal, Brooklyn):
We are looking for a full-time Chocolatier who is responsible for the chocolate production in accordance with our prescribed recipes. The Head Chocolatier reports directly to the Production Manager. This position is charged with ensuring the daily production requirements are achieved with the highest safety standards and quality control.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of food safety guidelines.
Attentive to details.
Ability to carry out multi-step procedures with an increasing level of efficiency.
Reliability, adaptability, and flexibility.
Ability to stand for hours while working.
Confections/ pastry experience, chocolate-specific experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Chocolate Making: Produce chocolates and confections using Li-Lacs proprietary recipes and techniques.
Planning & Scheduling: Keep pace of production to meet the daily requirements.
Machine Operations: Operate, maintain, and clean equipment as required.
Quality Control: Responsible for achieving high quality control standards.
Maintain a Motivated & Effective Staff: Be sure all kitchen associates are properly trained in procedures and standards. Maintain a team environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
