Our team in Reading currently has an opening for a Chlor Alkali Team Lead Dispatcher

The Chlor AlkaliTeam Lead is responsible for coordinating all activities around delivery ofcaustic soda, KOH, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and other similar bulkshipments. Dispatches trucks and ensures the dispatch operations process runsefficiently and in a timely manner.

• Dispatching of Brenntag drivers, supporting of all areas of our business including Caustic Soda, Sulfuric acid and other Bulk shipments.
• Handle all orders assigned to ship on company trucks and 3rd party carriers
• Manage the day-to-day operations out of our facilities and our bulk terminals.Coordinate shipping appointments and pickups.
• Coordinate shipping appointments and pickups
• Coordinate all activities with outside warehouses (non-Brenntag owned).
• Coordinate inbound shipments with Material Management and Production Coordinator. Communicate needs, issues, concerns related to ProductManagement on a daily basis.
• Process driver paperwork
• Manage receipts & reimbursements
• Review and file DOT logs
• Work with Customer Service to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Communicate needs, issues, concerns related to customer orders on a daily basis.
• Daily Communication of needs, issues, concerns related to customer order
• Daily communication of needs, issues, concerns related to product management
• Payroll processing
• Assist with dispatch office operations
• Point of contact for emergency line after 5 pm
• Process paperwork as per procedures
• Other duties as assigned
  

Education and Experience:

• 1 - 5 years Chemical industry experience
• 3 Years of Experience in distribution with a working knowledge of dispatching a fleet of drivers
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and bias for action
