Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Patient Support Specialist at our downtown Sioux Falls location. As a Patient Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and assisting our chiropractic team in delivering the highest standard of care. Your compassionate nature, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong organizational abilities will ensure that our patients receive outstanding support throughout their chiropractic journeys.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them with a friendly and empathetic demeanor, understanding that they may be seeking care during times of discomfort or pain.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments, ensuring that their needs are accommodated and any specific instructions or concerns are properly addressed.
• Maintain the organization and flow of the reception area, ensuring it remains clean, inviting, and well-stocked with relevant materials for patient education.
• Collect and update patient information accurately in our electronic health records system, maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all privacy regulations.
• Effectively communicate with patients, responding to inquiries, providing information, and offering reassurance throughout their chiropractic experience.
• Work closely with our chiropractic team to assist in patient examinations, treatments, and therapies, ensuring a smooth and seamless process.
• Support patients with exercises and home care instructions as directed by the chiropractor, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
• Process payments, verify insurance benefits, and assist with financial inquiries in a compassionate and sensitive manner.
• Maintain an organized and efficient filing system for patient records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility when needed.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of patient education programs and community outreach initiatives to promote chiropractic care and holistic wellness.
