Objective

Our P&C department is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team to support business development for our Commercial Lines department.

Responsibilities:

· Presenting our services and solutions to prospective clients.

· Bringing new business prospects to closure.

· Developing accounts and cross selling available products and services.

· Negotiate with carriers and evaluate carrier quotes to secure the nest quotes possible for clients.

· Identify carrier risk appetites, carrier information, target classes, and underwriting guidelines.

· Maintain proper documentation for existing and prospective clients.

· Attend training sessions, courses to maintain up-to-date skills.

Qualifications:

· Active Property & Casualty license

· Bilingual in Chinese and English

· Minimum 6-10 years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience

· Experience selling to a specific industry and surplus line insurance policies a plus

· Good listening skills and the ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Strong communication, critical thinking and organizational skills

· Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively prioritize workflow
