YOUR LIFE AS A CHIMNEY SERVICE / GAS TECHNICIAN
This full-time position typically works from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
In this skilled trade position, you help keep our customers warm and comfortable in their homes! With your excellent mechanical skills, you service gas fireplaces and chimney systems. When starting a new job, you thoroughly inspect the existing system to find and diagnose any problems, making small repairs when possible. You determine what parts need to be replaced or if a brand-new unit is needed. Then, you check product availability and discuss timelines and pricing options with the customer.
After repairing a system or installing a new one, you make sure it works properly and then teach the customer how to use it. You thoroughly clean up your workspace and check to make sure that every chimney system is properly venting before you leave the site. Motivated to excel, you do whatever it takes to get the job done right the first time. You find satisfaction in solving problems and fixing appliances, and you take pride in keeping our customers warm throughout the winter!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Knowledge about gas systems
- Experience transporting and operating heavy equipment such as aerial lifts
- Ability to safely climb ladders, scaffolding, and roofs
