About CHILL: The Community Helping Individuals Live Longer (CHILL) program is dedicated to fostering trust and redirecting negative behaviors that lead to gun-violence. We address the root causes of gun violence by connecting individuals with vital resources and support services. As a CHILL Ambassador, you'll play a pivotal role in creating positive change and providing hope to those in need.
Role of CHILL Ambassadors:
- Identify and engage individuals in the community who are at risk and could benefit from support services.
- Provide information and targeted referrals to community resources.
- Attend weekly check-ins with the CHILL Program Manager or Case Manager to review referrals and check on cases.
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with participants and uphold program standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong ties to the community and a deep understanding of its dynamics.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with program staff.
- Previous experience with gun-violence and at-risk individuals preferred.

- Consultant Pay by Referral system
- Pay per hour is $20 and the pay by referral is $25
