Childcare Provider/Fitness Center Childwatch

YOUR ROLE:
Burn Boot Camp Albuquerque West is looking for a fun, loving, kind, and compassionate person to join our childwatch team! As a childwatch team member you will be responsible for greeting members, playing with kids, redirecting when needed, and ensuring that the kids are safe and engaged in a positive fun manner during a 45-minute window while their parent/legal guardian works out. At the end of your shift, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the room.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for caring for client's children during select camp times
• Organizing and participating in recreational activities, such as games and arts and crafts
• Organizes and stores toys and materials
• Sanitizes toys, play equipment and completes the daily cleaning checklist
• Ensures that all necessary paperwork is completed, as needed – liability waivers, etc.
• General cleaning responsibility throughout the gym
• Oversees Signing-In and Out of children for each camp

COMPENSATION:
Hourly wages, potential for gym membership discount, and 10% discounts on all Burn Boot Camp retail shop products.

EXPERIENCE:
The ideal individual will have experience with all ages (6-8 weeks to 12 years of age) and is comfortable creating engaging activities whether song, coloring, playing, or simple games.
Preferred CPR and First Aid certified. Must have reliable transportation.

Flexible scheduling available with below shifts currently available:
AM shift: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
PM shift: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
