Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a childcare setting
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Promote positive behavior management techniques and encourage social skills development
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Follow established policies and procedures of the childcare facility
Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or related roles is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with daycare or preschool settings is a plus
- Ability to engage children in educational and creative activities
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Education:
-Must already have CDC or associate degree in early childhood education, or enrolled in college courses leading up to either degree or certificate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
