Childcare Provider

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for caring for and educating children in a daycare or early childhood education setting. Your role will involve providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation procedures
- Provide basic first aid when needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in CPR, first aid, or other relevant certifications is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in early childhood education is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
