```Duties``` - Provide counseling and guidance to children and adolescents in a supportive and nurturing environment - Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development - Create a safe and inclusive space for children to express themselves and explore their interests - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to address the individual needs of each child - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and structured learning environment - Incorporate educational elements into counseling sessions to enhance learning and growth - Offer tutoring or academic support as needed - Foster a love for the arts through theater activities and performances ```Qualifications``` - Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Experience working with children in a counseling or educational setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies - Experience in sports coaching or leading recreational activities is a plus - Understanding of Christian counseling principles (if applicable) - Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education is beneficial - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
