JOB GOAL:
Child NutritionFood Truck Manager will oversee the Food Truck staff and the Food Truck schedule, food preparation, procurement, assist with menu ideas, marketing, and all general operational requirements of the Food Truck enterprise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Valid Driver's License and the ability to drive an 8,500-9,600 lbs Food Truck
  2. Ability to lead a small team effectively
  3. Knowledge of basic math skills
  4. Available evenings and weekends for Food Truck events and catering requests.
  5. Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students on Child Nutrition program
  6. High School diploma or GED required
  7. Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record
  8. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Months 193 Days
COMPENSATION: $19.00 - $22.42
BENEFITS: As per District policy
REPORTS TO: Director of Child Nutrition
HOURS: 40 hours per week - Monday-Friday 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
  1. Establishes and maintains good rapport with students, employees and community
  2. Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules
  3. Supervises, evaluates, trains and creates work schedules for staff
  4. Performs and/or supervision of daily activities fundamental to State and Federal guidelines, including; Operation of computerized meal tracking software; Completion of daily production record, Completion of daily revenue reports; Daily production and serving of breakfast/lunch entrées, and snack items for compliance with NSLP & NSBP guidelines; Operation of kitchen equipment necessary to food production; Coordination of daily cleaning activities; Following established procedure for no-money students; Verifies and monitors HACCP procedures, including temperature logs
  5. Builds sales by promoting customer satisfaction
  6. Procures and orders all necessary food and non-food supply items for the Food Truck based on menu and catering needs.
  7. Exercises caution and knowledge of all local traffic laws and site specific parking requirements.
  8. Follows all county mobile food code requirements, including completing a daily log with all stops.
  9. Keeps the warehouse organized, clean and in compliance with Health Department and commodity regulations
  10. Keeps inventory records and takes inventory and values according to established district procedures
  11. Displays and demonstrates knowledge of HACCP food safety/sanitation guidelines
  12. Operates standard kitchen equipment, including but not limited to convection ovens, microwave oven, steam table and hot holding carts
  13. Works well under little supervision
  14. Assists with the daily cleaning of kitchen and all kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and to ensure sanitary conditions are met
  15. Assists with stocking and replenishing of supplies
  16. Provides leadership support to Food Truck support staff
  17. Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed
  18. Performs other duties as assigned
