Anchor Within Counseling is a small group practice looking for a pre-licensed or licensed Child & Family Therapist with a focus on serving children ages 8+ and their families. We offer racially-specific and culturally-specific services to everyone, and prioritize care to the Black and Brown community. This position is in-person.

Therapist Duties
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, narrative, emotion focused therapy, family systems.
- Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
- Complete risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of child and family therapy.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Valid Oregon licensure or pre-license to deliver mental health care
- Experience working with individuals and families in a therapeutic setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Culturally-Specific Skills Desired
- Knowledge and ability to serve Black/African and/or Latino populations from a racial trauma lens
- Willingness to work with clients who ascribe to religious/spiritual beliefs as protective factors
