Child Care Teacher

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being.

### Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in a safe and secure environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued and supported
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the health and safety of all children by following proper protocols and procedures
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, diapering, and other daily care routines as needed
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence, self-esteem, and confidence
- Collaborate with other childcare providers or educators to create a cohesive learning environment

### Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Experience working with students or children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of childcare best practices and developmentally appropriate activities
- Familiarity with special education techniques or strategies is a plus
- Ability to provide nurturing care while maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in handling various situations that may arise
- Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for all children

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
