Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through various activities
- Conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and ensure compliance with child welfare standards
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that promote learning and development
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors in a positive manner
- Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, materials, and classroom activities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team of educators
Please note that experience in childcare or preschool settings is preferred.
