Child Care Attendant
Mission Hills Country Club (MHCC) is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children to staff our Child Care facility. The Child Care Attendant provides a safe and engaging environment for children ages 3 through 8 years old and exceptional customer service for our members. MHCC offers childcare options for parents who participate in fitness, tennis and other club sponsored activities.
Essential Functions:
- Engage/Lead children in age-appropriate developmental, sensory and active play
- Follow all policies and programming outlines to ensure safe, age-appropriate activities
- Greet children and parents, ensure proper check-in and check-out including communicating appropriate information at check-out
- Complete daily cleaning of toys and area
- Adhere to all staff guidelines during shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the department
- Maintain a positive work environment with staff, children and parents
- Be dependable, punctual and reliable with attendance
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 15 years old
- CPR, AED and First Aid Certification, or able to certify within 90 days of employment
- Previous experience working with children in a group setting is preferred
- Able to take direction and lead activities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with members and team
