Administrative Assistant/Lead Teacher

Kiddie Academy of Fort Mill is looking for a nurturing, passionate and energetic Lead Teacher with Administrative experience to join our team of dedicated educators to provide administrative support to the Academy and also guide our young learners as they meet developmental milestones and begin a stimulating adventure in education!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will work closely with the Academy’s Management team to provide support to daily operations of the Academy.
• Must be able to communicate with enrolled families as well as inquiring families.
• Must be able to run a classroom as a teacher and provide support to the classrooms, as needed.
• Answer phone calls and schedule tours.
• Academy Opening/Closing responsibilities according to the designated schedule.
• Conduct tours of the Academy.
• Must be able to drive the Academy bus to pick up children from local schools.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures of the academy.
• Understanding of state licensing requirements and Academy policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with administrative duties in a licensed Child Care facility.
• Experience as a teacher/lead teacher in a licensed Child Care facility.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Complies with all state education and licensing standards and NAEYC guidelines.

EDUCATION:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Associated Degree in ECE or CDA (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Licensed Childcare Facility: 1 year (Required)
• Childcare Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
