This position qualifies for a hire on bonus of $5000 with 1/2 paid with 1st check after hire and 1/2 paid with 1st check following 6-month probationary period.

Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare has an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant Manager for our Child and Family Program. The Child and Family Assistant Manager will supervise the Wraparound Team and the Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health Team ensuring all clinical services in these programs are in keeping with agency standards and closely tied to the treatment plans and assessments. Provide crisis services during business hours, as indicated, function as part of the inter-disciplinary management team, and possess flexibility to assist team members to provide continuity and consistency of care to the agency’s clients.
The Child and Family Assistant Manager may provide direct services at times, based on agency capacity and program need. This position is responsible for regularly scheduled staffing and ongoing and recurrent individual supervision of assigned staff. The Assistant Manager is responsible for ongoing outreach and engagement, maintaining and building relationships with community partners and stakeholders. They will provide support to families outside of working hours through scheduled rotation on the Warmline.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall management and supervision of Wraparound and IIBHT programs with collaboration and partnership of Child and Family Program Manager.
- Provide direct services as indicated and assigned.
- Assure best practice through oversight including monitoring and auditing staff documentation.
- Manage workloads and workflows to ensure that access to care is expedited.
- Supervise assigned employees and interns.
- Maintain fidelity standards for Wraparound, and IIBHT, communicate with oversight agencies as needed.
- Participate in required conferences and trainings.
- Provide individual and group supervision to team members. Supervision includes clinical standards of care, documentation compliance, caseload/utilization management, productivity, and licensure supervision if applicable.
- Develop work schedules, training schedules, and approve timecards.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the profession.
- Coordinate with other teams as indicated.
- Manage, update and submit all fidelity reporting for assigned programs.
- Seek consultation from the Child and Family Program Manager and the Director of Outpatient Services regarding high-risk cases, system barriers, and any concerns regarding abuse, neglect, or elements impacting direct care.
- Assist in recruiting and hiring for open agency positions as needed.
- Provide ongoing training, development, and retention of employees.
- Serve as liaison between CBH Child and Family services and community stakeholders. Attend assigned meetings with community partners to ensure system collaboration and coordination of care.
- Attend assigned internal meetings including but not limited to: Child and Family Mental Health Staffing, Wraparound Staffing, Managers’ Meeting, Lead Meeting, Crisis Meeting, etc.
- Participate in Warmline rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in the Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university required.
- 3 years of outpatient clinical experience working with children and families is preferred.
- Qualified Mental Health Profession certification or licensed preferred.
