Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
- Monitor children for any signs of illness or distress and provide appropriate care
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a positive and inclusive environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, such as in a school, daycare, or nanny setting

- Prior experience with trauma informed care preferred, will train if necessary
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Familiarity with infant care techniques and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills to ensure a structured and engaging environment
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide individualized attention when needed
- Understanding of special education needs and strategies for inclusion
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
