  • Established team of 2 Advanced Practitioners
  • Providing patient care within our established UnityPoint Pediatric clinics in the Cedar Rapids community
  • Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
  • Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care

Responsibilities
  • Position is full time with 36 patient contact hours per week
  • Flexible hours between Monday-Friday from 7:30AM-5:00PM; No nights or weekends
  • New patients from three in-network referral sources-St. Luke's Hospital ED, follow-up from the child and adolescent inpatient unit, and referrals from UnityPoint Pediatrics and Family Medicine.
  • Position will have a Pediatric home base clinic, and possible float to additional UPC Pediatric clinics
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Board Certified
  • Prefer experience with Child Adolescent Psychiatry patients, as a nurse or provider
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States
