Form of workRole Description: Looking for a Production Support Analyst to conduct regular meetings with various teams, manage state technology assets (e.g., computers, monitors, etc.), and oversee mainframe and web migrations for major releases.
Responsibilities
Conduct weekly meetings with the Department of Workforce Development Child Protective Services.
Schedule and audit batch jobs, providing 24/7 batch support.
Attends critical client calls regarding usability issues and software errors.
Coordinate with the DWD ISS Server team and manage Migration activities.
Manage all the state assets in the Client building, working with the Desktop/Software team regularly for upgrades, PC issues, etc.
Coordinate mainframe migration with CPS and Web migration with DET on all the major releases.
Attend bi-weekly meetings with Client Desktop/AIMS/Software management/HR/Building and Space Management teams.
Manage Electronic Case File (ECF)/County support.
Monitor workflow and make timeline adjustments as needed.
Make vital decisions and drive decision-making across the projects.
Document errors and customer questions and escalate appropriately.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in technologies including WebSphere MQ & Message Broker, WebLogic, and SharePoint administration.
Proficiency in installing and configuring system software.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of complex software applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High motivation to learn new technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while also functioning well in a team setting.
Desired Skills:
WebSphere Admin, JAVA, or Mainframe experience
