Job description

As the Chief Sales and Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for setting the mission of your Sales and Marketing team, ensuring that your team is empowered with the knowledge, tools, content, and strategies needed to sell more effectively. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance our product positioning and market share in the existing HVAC and growing recreational marine industries as well as the growing direct on-line consumer sales.

This includes overseeing product launches, implementing go-to-market plans, managing sales collateral, conducting market research, developing your team, and coordinating and attending industry trade show.

  • Develop sales strategies, collateral, and data-driven resources to support your sales team in effectively engaging with clients and closing deals.
  • Manage customer service, e-commerce, graphics, and sales.
  • Create targeted messaging and positioning for our products, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Manage the marketing materials and web content, ensuring sales teams have access to up-to-date, effective Sales and Marketing resources.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, and new opportunities for business growth.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of Sales and product marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
  • Hands-On leadership of the Sales and Marketing team (Currently 2 salespeople, 1 social media, 1 graphics arts, 1 educational support)

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint skills, with the proficiency to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of the sales process and customer journey, with experience developing materials and programs that enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • The ability to partner with graphic designers to complete materials, ensuring high-quality, visually appealing Sales and Marketing collateral.
