POSITION TITLE: Chief Products & Service Officer
REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President of Programs and Operations
EXEMPTION STATUS: Exempt
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
This position directs and oversees all aspects of FeedMore partner services, including compliance, grant management and nutrition programs, compliance and education. In addition, oversees all food sourcing and donations as well as in- kind product donor outreach and cultivation. This includes Community outreach, grant management and food purchasing. Cultivates and maintains relationships with strategic partners, whether it be on a federal, state, county, or community level. Position oversees the development of community and state programs that are implemented in the serviced counties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains strategic partnerships on the federal, state, county and community level to further FeedMore's mission. This includes Office of General Services (USDA), Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance program, Feeding America, and Emergency Food and Shelter Program.
- Oversees the customer service to the clients, and partner agencies/programs of FeedMore
- Directs grant management and implementation of grants for FeedMore. This include tracking and reporting on grants, programs, and purchasing of food for internal usage and as required to contracted external parties.
- Oversees strategic plan related to the acquisition of products through federal, state, and local sources, donations, and purchasing.
- Assists with NetSuite and WAERlinx operations, including updates to systems, reconciliation of inventories, and data maintenance and extraction.
- Assists with other duties and projects as requested.
- Oversees staff and volunteers that carry out these programs, purchasing, grants, compliance, etc.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Master's Degree in public health/ nutrition or related area; plus 7-10 years' experience in nutrition; government affairs; non for profit management
- Experience in product procurement and grant writing and administration
- Knowledge of food safety and regulations; knowledge of government oversight areas of relevant government agencies;
- Serv safe certification;
- Previous supervisory experience; Strong public speaking abilities; previous customer service experience;
- Experience in non for profits preferred; as well as experience with Board of Directors;
- Independent motivator and ability to motivate/ inspire others; team oriented
- Current & valid driver's license and access to an automobile
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 35 lbs.
