At Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest, our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 8 years and has earned The Joint Commission’s Stroke Certification and Amputee Certification. At our 30-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving Idaho and surrounding states. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience in health care facility.
- Minimum of two (2) years administrative management experience in a health care setting preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in management capacity in a health care setting preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Working knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to hospital administration.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of hospital management and operations.
- Demonstrates a professional leadership style that earns the respect and cooperation of others within the hospital.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Must be able to develop and maintain good relations with staff, physicians, patients, families, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must be able to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

Second highest management position, responsible for daily management and coordination of the organization's operations as well as the development and implementation of long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the organization. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
