Largest Community Health Center in Hawaii seeking a dynamic and qualified individual for the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). This person is a member of the Health Centers Executive Team and participates in key strategic policy and fiscal decisions. The COO provides vision and leadership as the Health Center responds to a rapidly changing healthcare environment. The COO is responsible for providing leadership, management and the vision necessary to ensure that the clinical service departments has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
This individual is required to have a Master's Degree in a clinical specialty with extensive experience in the delivery of clinical services; a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior management role; 5 years' experience in healthcare administration/management, preferably in community health center, Ambulatory/Outpatient environment; experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, knowledge of databases and related statistical methodologies; experience working with culturally diverse populations; experience working in a managed care/multi-professional setting and a valid driver's license with daily access to an automobile.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1.Master's degree in a clinical specialty; with extensive experience in the delivery of clinical services required
2. Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior management role required
3. Five years' experience in healthcare administration/management, preferably in community health center, Ambulatory/Outpatient environment
4. A combination of work experience and some college may be substitute for required education
5. Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, knowledge of databases and related statistical methodologies
6. Experience working with culturally diverse populations
7. Experience with working in a managed care/multi-professional setting
8. A current and valid driver's license and daily access to an automobile are required
