Seeking to expand our startup savvy, kind-hearted leadership team who are committed to making a global difference in wellness and our sense of belonging as a society.

Wholosophy is a stealth life-enhancing Wellness Social Platform created to simplify and aggregate wellness. Think Houzz meets LinkedIn, but a platform for wellness created to inspire Social Good. Wholosophy connects the dots between community and wellness offering something truly unique and healing for the way we connect and live our lives.

We are an early-stage start-up with a launch-ready, highly sophisticated and rigorously tested platform, as well as 9-layered systems thinking-based go-to-market (GTM) including four guided growth programs. We offer the chance to contribute to a scalable, global platform that is reimagining the power of social media and how people come together to live healthier lives.

Our mission is bold and ambitious. It’s one that is shared by our team (15~) who shares our value to elevate and bridge connectedness and well-being. We dream big, move fast and strive for brilliance.

We offer a work culture based on openness, communication, and integrity. Our team is highly collaborative and fun! You’ll have a chance to work in a fast-paced setting with experienced industry leaders and be in an environment where you can make an immediate impact.

Wholosophy is a for-profit, Public Benefit Corporation.

The Chief of Staff is an integral role within Wholosophy optimizing and managing resources in the company, including maximizing the effectiveness of the CEO and driving key company initiatives forward. This a doer role in the trenches, sleeves rolled up and figuring it out as we go.

Primary duties

  • Quickly and comprehensively understand our sticky programs and interconnected GTM built to aggregate and connect a $5.6 trillion-dollar industry.
  • Work with the CEO on organizational planning and translating ideas into strategy, roadmaps and metrics. Create and manage systems/spreadsheets to monitor and report on KPIs.
  • Ensure the team’s (including yourself and the CEO’s) time is spent effectively on the activities with the highest return to the organization.
  • Help the CEO with her fundraising activities including supporting documents, researching and organizing contacts and assisting with follow up. Keep critical relationships warm.
  • Work with the Founding CEO to connect the dots across industries, societal trends, and opportunities for positive action and incorporate those possibilities into our commercial strategy.
  • Be an extension of the CEO within Wholosophy (marketing, engineering,..) and externally (investors, partners,..)
  • Support, and in some areas manage, internal and external corporate communications and programs.
  • Manage projects for the CEO, ensuring deadlines are hit and appropriate steps taken.
  • Leverage data and analytics to understand market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and inform business decisions to create measurable results.
  • Anticipate problems across the business and parachute in to solve them regardless of the functional area.
  • Help create and manage corporate collateral information and documents.
  • Bring in external best practices to effectively drive growth and scalability of the business. Challenge the status quo.

Possible duties - depending on the candidate

  • Lead day-to-day company activities and drive for results on strategic and tactical components of the business.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities to connect and mobilize global thought leaders and executives to support our GTM and inspire Social Good.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must think strategically in terms of exponential impact through leveraged, efficient, and repeatable programs and processes.
  • Experience supporting strategic partnerships, a new product launch and initiatives from the ground up is a strong plus.
  • A plus would be hands-on experience working with investors and early stage fundraising and experience or exposure to how an early stage startup scales.

  • Unflappable in high-pressure situations and experience with C-level executives/high-profile individuals.
  • Sophisticated presentation skills, able to inspire and influence.
  • Savvy at the early discovery of problems and mitigating challenges through an outcome-focused, yet inviting and empowering approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep business acumen, sharp strategic mindset, and developed personal presence.
  • Compelling, concise, and authentic writing skills are very helpful.
  • Uplift and protect our values and brand and gain a solid understanding of Wholosophy’s mission, platform, and target audiences.
  • Own Wholosophy’s success as if it were your own company, ranging from creating opportunities to mitigating risk.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes, with an ability to adapt as needed for ground-up organization building.
  • High level of execution. Can-do, self-starting and self-managing. Prompt follow up. Deliver above expected results. Resourceful go-getter who thrives on challenges..
