Chief Financial Officer (Cfo)

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record in the retail industry. As a key member of our executive team, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our retail operations, providing insightful analysis, strategic guidance, and financial leadership to drive the company's growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the company's objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to guide decision-making processes.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and proactively address areas for improvement.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
• Risk Management and Internal Controls:
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and market risks.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Implement effective risk management practices to protect the company's financial interests.
• Capital Management and Investments:
  • Manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize financial performance and support growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to enhance shareholder value.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management to support operational needs and investment priorities.
• Strategic Leadership and Decision Support:
  • Partner with the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the company's vision and goals.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Assess the financial impact of business decisions, investments, and initiatives to optimize resource allocation and ROI.
• Stakeholder Relations and Communication:
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, lenders, and other external stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic plans effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Act as a key spokesperson for financial matters, representing the company with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail operations, dynamics, and trends.
