• Works with the CEO and Executive Management Team to develop and implement the overall company's strategies and objectives.
• Provides leadership, direction, and management of the VP of Accounting and VP of Finance
• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze financial data, and prepare financial reports for executive leadership and stakeholders. Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
• Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
• Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
• Works in tandem with the CIO on investment of funds and investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
• Oversees the preparation of all reporting for Founders, Executive Management Team, Investors, Lenders, Banks, and any other third party needs.
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
• Works with executive management team to form and maintain relationships with investors
• Reviewing all formal finance related procedures
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and governance processes.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive financial role
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
• Eight to ten years of experience in financial management required.
