Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision and an experienced hand to our finance operations, supporting our growth trajectory and international expansion. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, developing strategies for new markets, and ensuring that our financial practices support our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Serve as a key member of the executive team, providing leadership and direction for the company's financial functions. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys objectives.
• Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, investments, and cash flow management to ensure the company's financial health and growth.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards across all markets, including international jurisdictions.
• Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions. Communicate financial performance and growth strategies effectively, ensuring transparency and confidence.
• International Finance: Leverage international finance experience to navigate the complexities of global ecommerce, including currency fluctuations, tax implications, and cross-border transactions.
• Ecommerce Acumen: Apply deep understanding of ecommerce dynamics to drive financial strategies that capitalize on online retail trends and consumer behaviors.
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the company's growth. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar credential highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of finance experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record in a high-growth ecommerce or luxury goods environment.
• Demonstrated experience in international finance, with a deep understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities in global ecommerce.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams across different geographical locations.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
