LPM & Affiliates is a family owned business that has been providing exceptional service in the catering and corporate food industry for 70 years. Since acquiring the company in 1988, the Watson family has attributed their passion for food and people to the growth and success of the business. Currently the company operates under the brands of Epicurean Feast and Sebastians, offering foodservice and catering across various industries and venues along the east coast.
Laurie Watson also owns and manages Seasonal Food Brands, Inc., a WBENC and SDO certified food service company that specializes in school feeding programs, catering, corporate dining, and specialized culinary programs.
We are currently looking for a true visionary to help grow the business in new markets, while also maximizing revenue with existing accounts and business partners. The CEO will lead the entire organization, managing all aspects of finance, operations, and sales & marketing. This role requires someone with integrity and superb communication skills who leads by example and can continue developing and growing the company as well as its employees.
Responsibilities:The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities; other duties may be assigned as required.
- Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission of the organization.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and internal communications with staff throughout the organization; create and promote a positive, multicultural work environment that supports consistency throughout the organization.
- Oversee the financial status of the organization including developing long and short-range financial plans, monitoring the budget and ensuring sound financial controls are in place.
- Develop strategic marketing initiatives to identify and cultivate new business prospects and revenue opportunities.
- Analyze company operations to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement.
- Monitor company performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services while managing for current and future growth.
- Establish and build trusted relations with key clients and partners.
- Provide companywide leadership, motivating and supporting staff to drive high performance and delivery.
- MBA (preferred) or undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 15+ years of management experience, preferably in the hospitality or catering industry.
- Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, be self-directed and mission driven.
- Excellent communication skills to express strategies and ideas effectively to staff, clients, and other company leaders.
- Exceptional business acumen with a strong grasp of market and demand drivers.
- Demonstrated success in driving and developing new business.
- In-depth understanding of the industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital planning management.
- Must demonstrate a high level of intelligence and intellectual curiosity and a desire to explore new ideas and innovative approaches to solving problems.
- Exceptional leadership ability and interpersonal skills to relate to diverse group in a manner that wins confidence and garners support.
