Chief Counsel - Employment Litigation SectionThe Office of the Missouri Attorney General is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Chief Counsel for an Employment Litigation Section. The Chief Counsel would be responsible for their own caseload and supervising the work of other Assistant Attorney General's and staff members. The position involves regular daytime travel and overnight travel as needed.Preferred experience/skills: Minimum 5 years practicing Employment Litigation cases/cases brought under the Missouri Human Rights Act Courtroom and trial experience Handling pre-filing investigation, discovery, motion practice, and depositions Drafting documents and correspondence Resolving claims by settlement Commitment to public service Excellent legal writing/ oral advocacy Management experienceCandidates should be licensed to practice law in Missouri or eligible for a temporary license (Rule 8.06).
