Schedule: Monday-Friday, Onsite, 40 hours per week (Flexible start time between 7:00 am - 9:00 am)
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join their team at their Jackson, MI, site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, either through professional or academic experience, and possess a degree in a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chemists in laboratory operations, performing tasks such as setting up equipment and preparing chemical solutions.
- Monitor chemical processes and conduct quality assurance tests on products.
- Work under the supervision of senior team members to perform lab activities efficiently and accurately.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and compile comprehensive reports.
- Present findings and conclusions to the research team.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred.
- Entry-level position; less than two years of experience required, with no experience considered.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
