Chef Assistant

Steer N Stein in Des Moines, IA is looking for a Chef Assistant team. We are located on 3212 E Grand Avenue. This position is available during the Good Guys Car Show July 5th-8th and the Iowa State Fair August 7th-18th. Some more hours may be available depending on the chef's needs. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

*Aid culinary team in preparing dishes to recipe *Ensure health and sanitation standards are in compliance with regulations *Properly store and dispose of food *Assist in training new kitchen staff team members

Qualifications

*Proven past experience in this position *Ability to communicate and listen effectively *Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils *Food handling certifications that apply

Shifts

Morning-5:00am-12pm

Evening- 12:00pm-8:00pm
