Check Fixture / Tool Maker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our team. As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and repairing various tools and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
- Design and build precision tools and fixtures using CAD software
- Operate machining equipment such as lathes and milling machines
- Assemble and test tooling components to ensure proper functionality
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing tools and equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize tooling designs
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments for precision work
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate tool dimensions
- Assist with CAM programming for CNC machines
- Operate stamping presses for tool validation

Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software for tool design (e.g., SolidWorks)
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and equipment operation
- Experience with lathe and milling machine operations
- Familiarity with hand tools used in tool making processes
- Understanding of GD&T principles for precise tool dimensions
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of CAM programming for CNC machines is a plus
- Experience operating stamping presses for tool validation is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
