Chautauqua Striders Tutor at Boys & Girls Club, Jamestown

Chautauqua Striders is looking for someone with a passion for working with youth grades K-7, to work in our tutoring program at the Winifred C. Dibert Boys & Girls Club, Jamestown. In this after school role, our tutor will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their students, assisting them in their school assignments, and running fun activities which help them to develop and strengthen their skills.

This position is Monday-Thursday 2:45pm-5:15pm during the school year (10 hrs weekly).

Responsibilities include:

· Assisting students with homework help and enrichment activities

· Classroom behavior management

· Logging attendance

· Attending necessary department trainings and meetings

This part-time role is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference with our community’s youth, and is available between 2:45pm and 5:15pm, Monday through Thursday. Full training and support is provided to all of our tutors.

Candidate must be 18+

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• After school
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
