Chart Review Registered Nurse (Rn)

A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their acute care facility as a Chart Review RN.
Responsibilities:
The Chart Review RN will be responsible for reviewing medical charts for accuracy and sequencing of diagnosis to those assigned from:

• Consultation reports
• History and Physical reports
• Operative reports
• Progress reports
• Discharge reports including complex cases

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related work experience
• Active, unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience with Epic and Chart review
• Experience with Joint Commission triennial
• Survey experience
• Knowledge of Medical terminology
• Solid documentation skills
