We are seeking an experienced Charity Director to join an International Foundation and lead our mission of providing aid and assistance to those in need around the world. The ideal candidate should have at least five to ten years of experience in financial planning, operations management, and fundraising. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Foundation's finances, ensuring efficient operations, and developing fundraising strategies to meet our goals. You must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Manage the Foundation’s financial affairs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor fundraising strategies to support the Foundation’s goals.
- Oversee operations, including personnel, facilities, equipment, and technology.
- Develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Recruit and manage staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities as necessary.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and manage the Foundation’s annual fundraising campaigns.
- Prepare and present reports to the Board of Directors.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to support the Foundation’s cause.
- Work with external partners to develop programs to promote the Foundation’s mission.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and impact.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least five to ten years of experience in financial planning, operations management, and fundraising.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws.
