Company Overview
ProLift Toyota Material Handling is more than a forklift distributor in the Midwest. We are a material handling supply chain and logistics partner that focuses on our customers and takes action on improving our customer's business. Thisposition is at the ProLift Evansville, IN Branch.
Job Summary
Perform basic to complex repairs on batteries, chargers, and changingequipment as directed by the service department within quoted times
Conduct thorough inspections on any equipment listed above to identify repairs that are needed and report all findings on work orders
Coordinate with Supervisor and or Parts department to obtain parts needed for repairs
Communicate clearly with customers about needed repairs or additional maintenance items
Must be able to pass and obtain a forklift license on all equipment
Keep service vehicle clean and stocked with supplies
Maintain personal workplacesafety and cleanliness requirements as directed by company policy
Comply with all quality and safety procedures as outlined by ProLift Material Handling
Complete required training specified by ProLiftand or Toyota Material Handling?
Educational/Job Requirements
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the material handling industry
Must maintain a good driving record
Basic computer skills
Perform repairs with a high degree of accuracy and competence
Interpret Engineered systems irregularities and identify appropriate solutions
Customer oriented; ensuring lasting relationships with external and internal customers
Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics
Must be self-motivated and organized
Eye, hand, and foot coordination
May require frequent driving, standing, walking, bending, pulling, pushing, crawling, squatting, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions
Must have the ability to continuously lift, carry, push, or pull 25-50 lbs.
